Peach Walnut Dump Cake
I had a really good friend that showed me the ease of making dump cakes for a quick and easy dessert. She always had some function at her church to go to and made these in a double batch for those functions. She was the reason I know how to make a flaky and delicious homemade pie crust and the reason I can make 20 fruit pies in one day!
This is your classic peach dump cake taken up a little. Flaked coconut and chopped walnuts bring an added flavor to this classic. This was one that I made and took to work with me. I like to leave a pan of something I made in the break room for staff. This was a hit and everyone loved it.
I love making desserts with just the basic ingredient of a yellow cake mix. The variations are endless! I try to keep canned fruit or canned pie filling on hand just to make these.
