Slow Cooker Brats and Sauerkraut
Juicy brats melt in your mouth. Prepare in the morning and they will be ready for any afternoon game. Wash down with a cold beer to make this better.

  1. Brown the brat in a skillet and add to a 5 qt or 6 qt slow cooker.
  2. Top with sliced onion, sauerkraut and beer.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4 hours or until sausages are cooked through.
  4. In a small mixing bowl, mix the ingredients for the sauce.
  5. Open a hoagie roll, add a slice of cheese and spread the sauce on top. Add a brat and the cooked sauerkraut to the top. Enjoy.
