I love fresh green beans. I plant two different plantings of green beans in my garden each year. We eat plenty right off the vine or the same night as we pick. I freeze a lot of the beans and can another portion of them. I like to cook them as close to fresh as I can get them.
Add the ingredients and let the slow cooker do the rest. Cooking vegetables in the slow cooker is a great way to free up your stove or oven for other portions of your meal. It also does not heat up your kitchen!
