Slow Cooker S’Mores Lava Cake

Desserts made in the slow cooker are not only easy but very yummy! I always try to get my kids involved with making these desserts not only to teach them how to cook and make recipes but so they can enjoy the end result.

My youngest loves making S’mores on the gas stove (with parent supervision of course). It is something fun to do and one that doesn’t require much involvement from me except the supervision.

This Slow Cooker S’mores Lava Cake turned out perfectly! The inside was a hot molten lava of chocolate goodness and the outside was a perfect little cake. A scoop of vanilla ice cream topped it all off. Feel free to sprinkle on top tiny marshmallows or even broken graham crackers for added goodness.

Serve with whipped cream or ice cream or even a toasted large marshmallow!  My kids loved this and asked to make it again.

I used my 5 quart slow cooker and you’ll want to be sure you have a mixing bowl as well.
