Slow Cooker Chili Cheese Dip
Two ingredients in this easy to make “dump and go” dip that a crowd will love.
My kids love Slow Cooker Chili Cheese Dip and prefer that I use the no bean canned chili when I make it. I prefer the Hormel Brand Chili with No Beans. This brand goes on sale from time to time especially during the colder months. If I find a decent enough sale, I purchase extra cans and keep them in the pantry for making items like this. Saves a little money, but every little bit counts. You can even use your homemade chili if you prefer. This would be a fabulous dish for a chili fest. I love bringing a dish that no one else will bring and I know I won’t be bringing it home because it will be devoured!
This dip also freezes well. Thaw prior to heating a second time. My kids like the leftovers and will heat up just enough in a bowl for a snack. You can use a smaller round slow cooker, or a larger slow cooker to make the dip. Be sure to have a good bowl for serving and some fresh chips for dipping.
