
Slow cooker Swedish meatballs are a delicious and easy to prepare meal that can be made in a slow cooker. This recipe yields about 8 servings, and it takes about 4 hours to cook on the low setting, or 2 hours on the high setting.
Ingredients for Slow Cooker Swedish Meatballs

- Frozen Homestyle Beef or Turkey Meatballs
- can of beef broth
- Cream of Mushroom Soup
- Paprika
- Kosher Salt
- Fresh Ground Black Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Steak Sauce
- Sour Cream
Instructions for preparation:
- In a bowl, mix everything EXCEPT the meatballs.
- Place the frozen meatballs in a 4 qt or 5 qt slow cooker.
- Pour the liquid ingredients over the top of the meatballs.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
- Serve as part of a meal over cooked white rice or noodles or as an appetizer out of the slow cooker.
This is great over egg noodles or white rice for a main dish. You can also serve these as an appetizer straight out of the slow cooker. After cooking the meatballs, turn the slow cooker to warm and serve with toothpicks.
Optional: If you’d like to add some vegetables to the dish, you can stir in some frozen peas or carrots during the last 30 minutes of cooking. You could also top the finished meatballs with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese for added flavor.
