Slow Cooker Brats and Sauerkraut
Juicy brats melt in your mouth. Prepare in the morning and they will be ready for any afternoon game. Wash down with a cold beer to make this better.

- 10 Brats
- 2 Medium Sweet Onions sliced
- 14 oz Sauerkraut rinsed and drained
- 3 12 oz American Light Beer
- 10 Hoagie Buns
- 10 Swiss Cheese Slices
Sauce
- 3/4 Cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 Cup chili sauce
- 2 Teaspoons Sweet Pickle Relish
- 1 Tablespoon Onion finely chopped
- 1 Clove garlic minced
- 1/4 Teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Brown the brat in a skillet and add to a 5 qt or 6 qt slow cooker.
Top with sliced onion, sauerkraut and beer.
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4 hours or until sausages are cooked through.
In a small mixing bowl, mix the ingredients for the sauce.
Open a hoagie roll, add a slice of cheese and spread the sauce on top. Add a brat and the cooked sauerkraut to the top. Enjoy.
