Tasty banana bread flavor in an easy to make breakfast oatmeal. Bananas, nuts, cinnamon and vanilla make this a breakfast the family will love.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Steel Cut Oatmeal
  • 4 Cups Water
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 2 Teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Medium Bananas rippe and mashed
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans or Walnuts

Instructions
 

  • Add the ingredients to aa 4 qt or 5 qt slow cooker and stir.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 7 hours.
  • Remove the crock from the heating element and serve.
  • Top with slices of fresh bananas and more chopped nuts.
