Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork
Delicious bbq pulled pork slow cooked to perfection. Serve on toasted buns with plenty of meat and juices and a side of cole slaw.

- 3-4 Pound Pork Shoulder trimmed of excess fat
- 1 Medium Yellow Onion finely chopped
- 3/4 Cup Ketchup
- 3 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
- 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 Teaspoon Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon Mustard Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin
- 1/4 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
- 8 Buns
In a medium bowl, combine onion, ketchup, tomato paste, apple cider vinegar and spices.
Season the pork shoulder with the salt and pepper and place in the bottom of a 5 qt or 6 qt slow cooker
Add the ingredients in the medium bowl to the top of the pork shoulder.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 5-6 hours or LOW for 8-10 hours or until the meat is fork tender.
Remove pork shoulder and shred with two forks and add back to the slow cooker. Mix the meat in with the leftover juices.
Serve on buns.
