Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate Cake

Moist chocolate cake oozing with thick chocolate sauce cooked in the slow cooker in 2 hours. Serve in scoopfuls in bowls with a side of ice cream as a family dessert.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix fixed according to the package
  • 3/4 Cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Baking Cocoa
  • 1 1/2 Cups hot water

Instructions
 

  • Spray the inside of a 5 qt slow cooker with cooking spray.
  • In a medium box, fix the cake mix according to the box. Pour the mixed batter into the slow cooker.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar, baking cocoa and hot water until the liquid and powder combine. Pour this liquid over the cake batter in the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Spoon out the cake into bowls and serve with ice cream.
