Brown the Hamburger and diced onion. Drain grease once hamburger is no longer pink.
Add Water, Tomatoes, Bay Leafs, and spices. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally to make sure the mixture doesn’t stick to the pan.
Stir in the 3 cups of elbow macaroni. Cover on medium low for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally so they don’t stick. Remove Bay leafs when the 15 minutes is up. Serve with Shredded cheddar cheese on top.
